Is the Plate Designer really free?
Yes. It runs in the page, needs no account and has no time limit.
What do I get when I buy a collection?
A ZIP with eight print ready PDFs, eight SVG charts and a read me. Each plate has pleat counts for chest sizes 18 to 28 inches, a floss estimate and row by row instructions.
How much does a collection cost?
Each collection is $19, paid once. There is no subscription.
How do I pay?
Payment is processed by Stripe by card. This site never sees your card number.
How do I get my files?
Right after payment, the download appears on the page and a personal link is sent to the email address you used at checkout.
Can I print the plates more than once?
Yes, for your own sewing as often as you like. Do not redistribute the files or resell the plates.
Can I sell garments smocked from the plates?
Yes. The terms of sale cover the plates themselves, not the garments you make.
What pleater spacing do the plates assume?
Pleats a quarter inch apart and pleater rows a quarter inch apart.
What if the PDF prints at the wrong size?
Print at 100 percent and measure the one inch square on the page. Use the SVG if you need another scale.
What if my download fails?
Write to social@alexandrefuchs.fr with your order details and the issue will be handled.
